Improve Workforce Readiness
And Fix The Missing Link In Education
By Teaching Critical Thinking & Communication Skills

"Keep It Simple. Keep It Structured. Keep It Significant."

With 50+years in marketing leadership and agency ownership roles, including HR director, Jim Rowe has interviewed ~500 recent grads and hired / trained scores on the 2 key workforce skills - CRITICAL THINKING AND COMMUNICATION.

Seeing the poor skills of recent grads himself, and finding research confirming that the issue is widespread, Jim wrote GET YOUR DUCKS IN A ROWE, a 2-book fable series, (inspired by WHO MOVED MY CHEESE) that is being used as textbooks at Kutztown University PA and Angelo State TX.  The professors and students have found them to be exceptionally simple and effective tools to teach these missing skills.

Today his sole focus is on helping both educators and executives train students and young executives on these 2 workforce skills via a 3-part framework including:

  1. GET YOUR DUCKS IN A ROWE a short, simple 2-book fable series

  2. Projects for students to gain practical application experience for freshman through JR/SR's

  3. Presentations to multiple classes for several years at Angelo State U. TX and Kutztown U PA.

He also recently (May '26) presented at The Lilly Conference (Evidence Based Teaching & Learning) to teach professors both Strategic Writing and his innovative The A-D-A-P-T-E-R Method(R) to address this MISSING LINK IN EDUCATION.

The videos below reflect both:

  1. Jim's presentation on the issues and his innovative solutions to a huge problem

  2. The incredible support professors give Jim based upon the RESULTS with their students.
